2025 Food Collection
PLEASE DELIVER ITEMS ON JUNE 17 OR JUNE 18
We are asking participating businesses to deliver any donated items/cash on either Tuesday, June 17 or Wednesday, June 18, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., at the former Consolidated Printing building located at 319 S. 5th Street (on the southern side of the building). The warehouse is located between South and Mulberry Street, specifically on South Street. Look for board members stationed at the dock entrance on the southwest side (facing 5th street), where Project Salina yard signs will be displayed.
PRINT ATTACHED FORM and include it with your product/cash donation when you deliver the items.
We would prefer to collect everything on the scheduled two-day window. Our board members have scheduled time off work specifically for this purpose, and we would like to collect all donations on those days. If you are delivering, kindly specify which of the two days you will arrive and an approximate time to expect you at the warehouse.
IF YOU CANNOT DELIVER ITEMS ON JUNE 17 OR JUNE 18 AND NEED US TO PICK THEM UP
If you need us to pick up the items on June 17 or June 18 please provide the following details:
• Your preferred day and time for pickup.
• Address of your business, including specific door instructions and the contact person upon our arrival.
• Contact person's name and cell phone number for communication.
• Quantity and type of products requiring pickup.
• Any cash or checks we should collect during the pickup.
Please ensure that any food products are properly bagged or boxed to avoid excessive weight and that the items are easily accessible on the ground floor. Additionally, please complete the attached form to help our volunteers efficiently track donation numbers.
If June 17 or June 18 doesn't work with your schedule, send an email to projectsalina@gmail.com and we'll arrange with our board members to transport the items to the warehouse at their convenience.
IF YOU ONLY HAVE CASH/CHECKS, HERE ARE YOUR OPTIONS:
•Send the checks in the mail to: Project Salina, PO Box 2861, Salina KS 67402-2861. This can be done anytime, there is no date that is too late to submit the donations. PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL CHECKS ARE MADE OUT TO PROJECT SALINA!
•If you have cash that you do not want to put in the mail, you can take the cash/checks to Central National Bank (454 S. Ohio, by Water’s True Value). Please put “Kristina Litchman, Project Salina” on the envelope and note who the envelope is from so you can get credit for the deposit. You can drop it off in the drive through or take it inside.
•If you would rather a board member pick up the cash/checks in person, please email projectsalina@gmail.com and we will plan to come get the donations at our earliest convenience.
